Shrek Movie Review - Aman

Shrek is completely new take on movies. 

Never has a fully CGI movie taken on the twists, turns, and surprises as Shrek has.

Shrek targets everything from fairy tales to Disney films to narrative clichés to bad puns all the while giving the typical fantasy story a few modern twists and turns to deliver a strangely original unoriginal film. 

The film is about an Ogre named Shrek. Shrek is a green ogre who lives in a swamp, but his king sends him on a mission which he must complete to get his own land back. After only ten minutes of this film you realise that this movie going to be a classic. Eddie Murphy being employed as a donkey is casting dream and plays well against the more plain Shrek, voiced by Mike Myers.

"Ogres are like Onions"

Technically even though the film was released in 2001, only now can you start seeing age in the animation. However, once you have started watching you forget everything technical and become entrenched in the film. 

I give this film a 10/10.
