The Martian Review - Lindsay



The Martian was a movie released on the 30th of September back in 2015, directed by Ridley Scott and stars Matt Damon. This movie details his unfortunate separation from his team as he is left stranded on Mars.

He is left to ration his remaining food and to grow his own potatoes on Mars and uses his rover to attempt to reach an old probe named Pathfinder. He uses its camera to make contact with the people back on earth. Which they then teach him how to reprogram the rover to communicate with people on earth. The thing I liked about this film is that he overcomes so many obstacles that come his way as he finds his way home.

Overall, this film is remarkable, it nails scientific accuracy while being an engaging movie.

Overall I give the film a 9/10
