WolfCop Review - Lindsay
WolfCop is a horror film released on the 6th June 2016, and was directed and written by Canadian filmmaker Lowell Dean. It stars Leo Fafard as Sergeant Lou Garou, who is also the titular WolfCop,
Amy Matysio as his colleague and fellow Sergeant Tina, and Jonathan Cherry as Willie Higgins, Garou's friend and owner of a gun store. The plot follows Garou as he is forcibly turned into a Werewolf, and he has to deal with the problems he faces because of it, like mobsters trying to kidnap him, and reptilian shapeshifters trying to sacrifice him to strengthen their own magic. The movie is very graphic and has some pretty disturbing scenes in it, but also comes across as a cheesy B Movie at the same time.. The acting could be described as porno-esque in the way they deliver their lines and express their emotions.
The story also isn't that good and is comes across as though it was thought up as they were filming it. Despite all of this though, the movie has charm to it and was definitely an entertaining watch. It's something that should be watched with friends or drunk so you can get as many laughs out of it as possible.
Overall it gets a 6.5/10.
